Daytime Driving Lights

We just purchased a 2001 Sable and would like to add daytime driving lights if there is a way to do it. Does anyone have any suggestions for kits? The car is silver and I think it would help with the visibility. My wife drives it and goes up and down the highway some. Her old Lesbare has driving lights that also has a sentinal, which turns the lights on and off automatically. It is a nice feature. Thanks.

Re: Daytime Driving Lights

I would contact your local Ford Dealer and see if they have a Head light / Day time running light switch that can be used in your car. I tried to find the same thing for my other car (Dodge) but was not able to find anything. Good luck.

Re: Daytime Driving Lights

I checked the manual and apparently some come with "auto lamps." Looks like if a Sable has autolamps, you turn the switch all of the way to the right and leave it there. I am thinking salvage may be the way to go. I will need a different switch and probably the control box. I bet the wiring is there already. Thanks.
