changing spark plug

I have 1995 Buick Roadmaster. I'd like to change its spark plugs. According to Haynes repair manual you have to reach them from underneath the car, but, I still can reach some of them either from the top or the bottom of the car. Do any one has any idea?

Re: changing spark plug

Whatever is convenient for you, no manual can dictate how to change plugs. I change all of mine from the top. You just need to be creative with the short extension and universals.

Re: changing spark plug

Effian: I have a 1995 as well. I found the easiest way is to jack up one side at a time, take the tire off and access the plugs through the fender well. I cut some slits in the rubber "boot" hanging off the fender well to allow easier access. Good luck!

Re: changing spark plug

There are, as said, many ways to change them. Here is a worddocument I found:
http://buick.lloyd-willner.se/docs/s...nge-on-lt1.doc

I can´t remember where I got it and who wrote it but thanks whoever You are

It is a bit tricky the first time but as You find Your own way it´s no biggie.

good luck!
