00 burb won't start

Hey all, need some ideas for following problem. 2000 Suburban K1500 LT, wife pulls into driveway , turns the truck off and when she comes back out a few minutes later, it won't start, it will crank and tries to start but won't run. Got home pretty late and did some troubleshooting. Hooked up scanner, no codes set, can't hear fuel pump run, figured I would buy fuel pump today. Got home today, went out and cranked it, fired right up. I drove around for awhile, got home and killed it, fired right back up, tried again and same problem, cranks, tries to fire but won't run. I am still leaning toward fuel pump, any other ideas. Thanks in advance, Wil.

No fuel pressure at valve on fuel line between rails, not even an initial spray, swapped relay with horn relay and it works, so not the relay. Suppose my next step is to replace fuel pump. Thanks for the replies and I will post the final outcome, Wil.

did you ever put a fuel gage on it? and no fuel pressure at so your saying not a drop when pushed on valve? then yes on fuel pump change.

Re: 00 burb won't start

Just finished installing new AC/Delco fuel pump and truck started right up, so that fixed my problem. Thanks for the advice. Later, Wil.
