as some of you may know i got my 89 camaro for a steal but it was apart and i went to a carberated engine i also removed most of the efi wireing now i have the car running but of course it will not start with the key so the fuel pump, and the fans are on a switch and a push button for start the ignition system still works with the key so do all the acsseorys i would like to eliminate the push button so if any one has any advise i would be greatfull

Re: pass key/vats
There is a relay behind the driver side kick panel, it is the "start enable" relay. VATS energizes this relay when it senses the right key in the ignition...remove the relay and jumper out the wiring.
