Piaa Lights

Anyone had any experiences with Piaa lights? Im looking for some driving lights and wondering what would be best, the 525, or the 540 series, anyone have any thoughts? Cost doesnt matter, looking for the best range, brightest and furthest coverage. There are lots of deer in the ditches around where i live, already hit two of them, looking for some good lights that will help me see them before i turn them into roadkill. any thoughts are appreciated. Looking at their website I dont see any difference besides price and size, unless im missing something. Please help, thanks.

Re: Piaa Lights

I haven't had any experience with the PIAA lights but i've used the HID (High intensity Discharge) KC highlites on our vehicles in Iraq to see what is on the sides of the roads and they work great not sure on the price but for what its worth they are only a 40 watt draw and come with the relay harness inline fuses and instructions for wiring. the bulbs are i think 3000 hours and the ballasts plus bulbs are warrantied for 21 or 23 years as long as there is no damage or tampering. Too bad the warrany doesn't cover damage from explosions.

Re: Piaa Lights

haha, for real, I love anyone and give major props to anyone who has been or goes to iraq. I have heard that Piaa is the #1 light making company and that all the serious people who have offroad or rally machines use them. Granted they are expensive, but in my experience you do get what you pay for in most cases. However if anyone knows of a better cheaper light than what Piaa makes, im all for it. I just havent heard of anyone yet that can compete with them. I have money and dont mind spending it, but I do want the best lights I can get, be they cheap or expensive, doesnt matter, im after overall quality and durability. I welcome more feedback and ideas on what is the best in everyones experience. I dont like to waste money unnecessarily, i want the best for the vehicle i have and the application i want.
