03 windstar electrical problem

Tonight the lights were flickering, doors were locking and unlocking, chiming, and right side blinker and side light dont work. When I use the right turn signal it blinks fast but the rear right brake light and turn signal works. Left side works fine. Rear door ajar indicator is on but the rear door is closed. Please is someone can direct me what to do cause I don't have lots of money diagnosing this problem at the mechanics or dealership. Thanks again Rich

Re: 03 windstar electrical problem

Look in the windstar section about another electrical problem. Read the link as it is somewhat like your problem.

Re: 03 windstar electrical problem

If you have a voltmeter try to check the voltage at the battery, while the engine is running. Should be over 13.5 volts; if 12 volts or lower, possible alternator failure or battery. Defect alternator or battery may cause some funny things like what happen to many systems in your van.
