Pulley Question!

Whats The Diffrence Between A MPS Pulley and a Press on Pulley you would get from zzp. i know the mps? is a two pc. Is there a diffrence from the two pc pulley vs the press on?

isn't the MPS a quickchange? If so, you need to press it on, but it can be changed to a different size be simply removing some allen bolts.

Bang-on. MPS is Modular Pulley System. It presses onto the shaft and from there the pulley is held on by *usually* 5 allen head bolts. They are designed for easy change VS the time it takes to remove/move the fuse box, set up the puller, pull the pulley, press the pulley back on...instead, bolt on, bolt off, or vice versa.

I've got 6. Thrasher MPS.

It takes less than 10 minutes.

Well the one I was looking at was 5, ZZP's.

I don't think it matters which vendor I go with for the MPS right? They all work the same...

One half dozen or the other. Really makes no difference and yes they all work the same. It will be down to cost and which vendor you prefer to do business with.
