87 Turbo coupe transmission
I have a 87 thunderbird TC with auto trans, 18 bolt pan. The problem Im having is that the trans will not downshift on its own into 1st and sometimes 2nd gear when slowing down from speed. when almost stopped the trans shutters like a standard trans in second comming to a stop without hitting the clutch. I have to downshift like a standard to stop the shutter. the converter has been replaced and new bearings installed in front of the trans. also the tv cable has been adjusted.
