2003 jetta GLS factory stereo to aftermarket stereo question

I have a 2003 Vw Jetta GLS with the premium stereo not the Monsoon !
double din CD + tape

i am been doing my research and i am really stumped...

has all the bells and whistles but ... does my car ? - this is the one car toys wants to sell me -

doesnt that mean i dont need the 100 dollor one and i can stick with the one with just the 12v PAC wire ? do i need the other crap ?
also each website i find tells me something different

I have used Car Toys with my 2000 Beetle and am very pleased by their work. The sold me what i needed and nothing more. The part you are looking at looks familar and is a much easier hook and go. No splicing. It also will keep your Jetta OEM if you decide to change back. I would go this route.

A friend of mine has a Jetta-2004 and she has THIS RADIO and the super rejection ON FM is amazing!!!!!

I can listen to things on it THAT YOU CANT LISTEN TO ON MOST CAR RADIOS because the splash is not filtered out as good as it is on this! (It sounds like it switches filters to cut off the adjacent station)


I havent ever seen another car radio like this!!!!

I found out which model it was yesterday and now i want to order it!! (Hopefully i can find where to!!)
