Stuck Timing Belt????
Hey Guys, just got through a hectic time with my car. I was on my way to my campus when the car just died on me right as soon as i was going to park the engine dies. i try to start it up again but all it did was crank, and the engine wouldn't start. checked the spark plugs and i still had spark so i thought it would be the fuel pump. When I got help from a friend I told him to crank it and i took off the cam gear cover. when my buddy cranked it all the other belts would move but the timing belt stayed in place. Didnt move at all. checked for tension and its still tight. Is there any reason why or how this could happen? I want to take it to the shop but i need it for school.

just checked out the timing belt and it has some shredded teeth off. im going to have o send it to the shop so they can look at the valves and check if nothing is bent hopefully!!!!
