Exclamation Big Subs=Big Risks READ!

All of this information is true and comes from a scientist I know.

Having large subwoofers in your car could be exremely hazardous to your health. The vibrations caused by the subwoofer can alter your metabolism, and change your heart rate. This is very dangerous for the body! It could cause a heart attack, or possibly death. If at any time your listening to your sub and you feel sick, nauseated, shortness of breath, ect TURN IT OFF IMEDIATELY. If this ever happens to you, in reality you should NEVER be near a sub like that again, but it might be ok to downsize WAY WAY DOWN to a much smaller sub.

Just letting you all know, so that you can live longer healthier lives.

I don't either. I'd rather listen to the sound of the car.

First off, why would a scientist be making claims about the human body? These people called doctors do that. And second, the vibration have absolutly nothing to do with your metabolism (the rate at which your body processess energy) nor does it have anything to do with your heart rate.

BUT what it DOES do is affect the cochlea (inner ear). Causeing disruption to the cochlear fluid can cause nausea much in the same way as spinning in a circle, or a rollor coaster could.

it will take a lot of pressure (we're talking ober 170db's...which NO one listens to daily) to kill someone and to change the heart beat.

no, it's not the vibrations, its the sudden hits of bass that do that...

yes, if the pressure from the bass was VERY high (like maybe 170's to 180's), it might cause you some problems. The pressure might also cause internal organ problems, kinda like being punched. Fortunately, only a handful of vehicles (maybe 100 at most) can produce that kind of volume - and they are NOT daily drivers.

If its too loud then your too old!

People that like their music loud and bassy know that it can cause problems, but hey It's their choice.

If my car stereo kills me then hay at least I will die happy
