2002 GP SE Electrical problem?
Good Morning! Woman here who needs help. Here are the problems that started from beginning till now:
1. A/C would occasionally stop blowing then start back up in a matter of seconds. 2. When I would turn on the A/C the automatic headlights would come on also, but when the A/C stopped blowing, the headlights would turn off as well. Both would come back on with out touching anything. 3. My mother noticed I have no brake lights. Light is on, but no brake lights. The window display light would work when I braked but not the tail lights. 4. Hazard lights will not engage. I push down on the button and it will not lock into position. When I do push on it I hear the blinking but when I look at the dash only the right arrow is blinking not the left. ( I also asked my six year old to stand behind the car and tell me if they would flash when I pushed on the button and she said no.) Now with what I have read here, it could be the Ignition Switch right? If so, how much does that cost to have it changed in a shop? And with the brake/hazard lights, could that be nothing more than a fuse or a bulb that has blown? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much Dawn |

Re: 2002 GP SE Electrical problem?
Your issue could the multifunction switch (MFS - stalk) or the ignition switch. But with the brakes lights out, bad hazard button and at least one directional signal not working MFS would be the starting point.
