Autozone Ignition lock cylinders
I have a small question. I had installed one of those AZ lock cylinders into my gf's caravan, and one thing I noticed was how generic the key looked. Are the keys for these cylinders unique for each one, or are they the kind where only 40 unique keys are manufactured for 500,000 cylinders?

Re: Autozone Ignition lock cylinders
First of all, the junk yard or even ebay would have been better options, factory lock cylinders are always a ton better. I used to work for Advance Auto. But No that lock cylinder you bought will work just fine. no worries, also what year is that caravan?

Re: Autozone Ignition lock cylinders
The Lock Cylinder for my car comes with a "generic" key, just to give you a pattern to make a key from.
I need to go have a key made, from the plane looking thing that comes with the new cylinder. The one for my car isn't made to be used as a key. Chris.
