turbo wrap

im just curious, has anybody used a turbo insulating wrap? i want to get one to keep the underhood temps down and i just want to kno one thing. I want to buy the DEI kit ( http://www.designengineering.com/pro...sp?m=sp&pid=31 ) but that doesnt include enough stuff to wrap my cast iron exhaust manifold. so what i was thinking was i should buy the thermo-tec Turbo Insulation Cover only ( http://www.thermotec.com/turbo-insulating-kit.html ) along with a 50' roll of exhaust wrap so i could get my downpipe and the manifold. what i cant figure out is if DEI kit and the full Thermo-Tec kit come with anything that u wrap the turbo with before the aluminized heat blanket goes on. prolly a stupid question but does anything go under the blanket?
