96 Contour 2.0 automatic - stops while turning or when breaking at a stop sign

I have a 96 Ford Contour, automatic, 2.0. I recently replaced the gaskets. However it is now turning off whenever I turn the wheel for parking or when I stop at the traffic light or stop sign. It will start again but it is becoming annoying. Can you help me?

Sounds like an intake leak.

Thank you, but sorry for my ignorance, can you be a little more specific. I have not very good knowledge of cars.

Use some carb. cleaner and spray along the edges of the intake manifold.
If you spray a leak the engine will smooth out.

I'm assuming when you replaced the gaskets, that include the intake manifold gaskets, throttle body gasket, etc. Chances a gasket isnt seating completely or a bolt isnt tightened down all the way.
