engine don't start

hi,

recently I make a overhaul to my kia sportage 1996 4x4, but after reasembly the engine don't start,

it have fuel presure and ignition coil works fine I think,

i use the kia manual for reasembly the timing belt, but, the engine simply don't burn the fuel,

there is another procedure for checking the timing? or any test that I could do to the crankshaft and camshaft sensors?

thanks.

Do you have spark?.....remove the plastic cover above the spark plugs to get access to plug wires, then reinstall the rest back in place and test for spark....then post results.....mmmm...is this a DOHC engine...?

Re: engine don't start

hi LMP,

thanks for your time, it is a DOHC engine,

in fact it is spark and it is ignition, but the fire flows to exhaust and to intake mainfold, some one tells me that it is a valve trouble, what you think?

it is posible that the engine don't start for failure in seal of valves?

thanks again.
