1996 Continental
Hi,
My son just purchased a 96 Continental with the 32 Valve engine. For 500.00 it was a good deal. Needs a few minor things. The engine states it needs "Premium Fuel" only but he put in regular fuel. After he put in the regular gas, and drove it for a while, the 'Check engine light', came on. Could the regular fuel cause the light to come on? Could regular fuel damage parts in the engine? ie(Sensors, etc.) Thanks, Steve |

Re: 1996 Continental
Buy some octane boost from local parts store + put in tank.
It could damage a catalytic in time. MCGIVER |
