Question Help

Hi I was wanting to put a new inline 6 4.0l in my jeep cherokee sport and I want to also want to put new cams, and twin turbo with a cool air induction system. Money is not object but I do want do somthing for my self for a change. I was wondering frist where to get these things and even if can do it. Because I had a notion that if you had twin turbos you were not able to put a cool air induction system on your engine. and my Jeep is a 1993 sport 150bhp but now is probley 120, would the gas milage go way down. Please help. Thanks.

Re: Help

I don't know of a twin turbo setup for this engine. You could probably start with a buildup here

Or maybe here.

Re: Help

I was also wondering if you could put a supercharger on it and where to find a new engine.

Re: Help

you can stroke the 4.0L . as far as turbos go, there is one company that makes a 4.0L turbo kit (one turbo) but i think its made to fit better under a wrangler hood. i have heard of people small blocking cherokees (only ones i have seen had the GM 2.8L before the change). you can do a internet search on those for more information because thats all i know.
its all big money

Re: Help

IMO, this is pissing money down the drain but it's your $$, I'd go the supercharger route over twin turbos. If you "google" jeep supercharger, you get tons of hits. Here's a few to start with:

http://www.avengersuperchargers.com/
