High mount brake light socket

The High Mount Bake Light Socket is broken in my 93 PA.
One of the contacts is broken.
The dealer told me it is discontinued.
Could not locate any on e-Bay, internet and at the junk yards.

Please help me locate a replacement bulb holder/socket.
Thanks

Re: High mount brake light socket

Are you sure you couldn't find one at the junkyard? Mine went bad and I went to the junkyard and cut about three brake light sockets and got it practically for free. The socket is the same for a bonneville, lesabre, park avenue, Olds 88 and i think I'm leaving out one car model.
If you go the junkyard route you can just get them and splice it to the wires from your brake switch and use tape to tape the open wire up. I did that and all is well.
