Strange Radiator leak
I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 3800 Series II V6 with 117,000 miles. I drove from PA to NJ which was about 100 miles to the Jersey Shore. When i got down the shore i noticed a puddle of coolant on the ground, i drove around the beach for a day and everytime i would park the car a new puddle would appear. Eventually after driving enought the leak went away. I filled the radiator up, drove all the way home and have been driving it for about 3 days now, the car never leaked anymore. The water seemed to be building up on the passender side where the fan bolts to the radiator. what the heck could have caused this mysterious leak that just stopped.

Re: Strange Radiator leak
well...passanger side is where the hoses are. did you check them first? another thing, it could be the water pump. check around the water pump for signs of leaking.

Re: Strange Radiator leak
its probably still leaking, maybe just has air in the system. I would fill it up, run it in the driveway untill the fans kick on and try and find the leak.
