Re: injector/engine cleaner
Who knows. I have yet to come across a fuel injector cleaner where there was a noticeable differences except for a better start. I guess if you properly maintain your vehicle you wouldn't noticed a big difference anyway because the fuel system is already in good shape if you keep maintenance up. Currently I'm running Gumout complete fuel system cleaner thru my car. I paid $6+ for it and I don't see any big difference. The only reason I put it in is because I haven't but any fuel injector cleaner in my car for at lest for or five months and it eases my mind.

Re: injector/engine cleaner
I have no idea but I have used it as fuel injector cleaner before. Same as usual no noticeable difference except maybe at start up. But the same can that you can use as a fuel injector cleaner, can be used to clean out the engine when doing an oil change so it has to be some tuff stuff. I've heard its good but not really sure what it contains. But if it is suppose to clean the engine out I'm sure it does some cleaning when using it as fuel injector cleaner.

Re: injector/engine cleaner
I don't know if they actually help or not....since well, as pointed out in the thread, if you keep your car in decent working order, you shouldn't have problems.
But previously I added the STP "Complete System" cleaner and clocked it, it's coming about due for another treatment, but I don't notice any difference, so I think I'm going to try the "SuperTech" Fuel Injector and Carburetor cleaner, the MSDS contents looks similar, so I don't think it can be that bad. I've been adding STP "Gas Treatment" usually every (or every other) fill up, so it's not like a got an overly dirty system anyways. Which is why I don't know if it really works or not, but I've been applying it more for "prevention" of problems since I do tend to "mix" gas brands (don't stick with 1 brand, but go for the cheapest station...). I know SuperTech has a 2500 mile treatment and it's a lot cheaper than the STP/GumOut and the MSDS contents look similar. I still average about 300 miles per tank, no matter how I look at it - so I'm guessing my injectors are fairly clean
