steering niose
I have a 1999 GMC SLT 4.3 L. Its makeing a real bad creaking noise when I turn the wheel both left and right. I have the fluid on full and its not burned out, also theres no viberation or change in drive or ride its still as smooth as the day I bought it.

Re: steering niose
sounds like a ball joint or tie rod if there are grease fittings on them grease them if its the same creaking noise i think it is my buddy's taurus had the same thing turned out to be a bad lower ball joint there are roughly 10 diffrent areas that could be at fault upper, lower ball joints,
outer tie rods, inner tie rods, drag link, idler arms, and pitman arm
