Question V8 Chevy powered 240sx!!!

Have you ever wanted a V8 Nissan 240sx??? Well now you can.
I now have Chevy V8 engine swap kits for the 240sx.
You don't have to tell that you have an old school Chevy 350,
LT-1, LS-1 or Northstar under your hood. You can have a fast and furious sleeper for real.
Chevy motors are everyware, with a little time and $$$ you can have a 10sec or 11sec 240sx daily driver for for a lot less $$$ than any other type of conversion that will give you this kind of horse power and torque. Chevy power is hard to beat!... dollar per horse... I have found that nissan has done everything else right setting up the 240sx's so why not put a dependable, fast chevy in it.

Re: V8 Chevy powered 240sx!!!

It's been done by a guy named Aries. He also got tore up by a lude boosting only 7 psi. http://www.limecreekmotorsports.com/project240SS.htm
good luck with your product but I'll stick with Nissan.

Going from a roll gave the 'lude a bit of an advantage. High power FWD cars have trouble with weight transfer and traction. The outcome might've been even if it had been from a stop.

But still, how the hell do you let a 7psi lude beat your 350-powered 240sx?

Someone does this to FC RX7s aswell. Whats the point? Unless your SR20DET blew up and you are offered a 350 Chevy for free to put in it I see no point.

A chevy 350 does not weigh much more than an RB26DETT, and its not as long so it can be placed farther back in the engine bay.
