shifter question
hey everyone. i was just wondering how to take the shifter knob off. the plastic with the indicators is all messed up and i wanna replace it, but i need to remove the knob and boot first. i noticed there is a little "tab" under the trigger on the knob. do i need to push that or what? thanks

A few inches below the top of the shifter knob dash side you'll see a recessed area. There is a U shaped clip that can be removed. Carefully use a small flat blade screwdriver. Once clip is removed the knob will pull off.
