Question bucking & mising in midrange rpms

i have a 93 talon dohc turbo awd . ijust got it & know very little about the car or turbo systems
i do know it has a gm maf w/translator & the turbo looks a little bigger than
the stock one
my problem ,well the main one is that the car seems to be running extremly rich in the mid rs . it wil idle fairly good , but when it comes time to apply the throttle she bucks & spits really bad & if i can feather it through the rough it will take off like a rocket at around 4000 rs
installed new plugs & wires but minimal improvement
like i said i'm new to turbo cars & could use some insight please
thank you

Is there anything in there to tune with, like DSMLink or even a SAFC? You need something to control the fuel with if the turbo is upgraded and I think the GM MAF too. A 4g63 can help with that more.

Re: bucking & mising in midrange rpms

Do you have a wideband Installed? Do you know what size injectors you are running? T|he Maf can be used as a mediocre tuning device but there are several other things we must know before we can give you helpful information.
