Cool Complete: "NISMAGNUM" GT-R (a vastly rearranged Skyline)

Finally finished the "NISMAGNUM" GT-R wagon. Aoshima Skyline GT-R front end/wheels/dash/taillights added to a Dodge Magnum body.

I'd love to own/drive a car like this. Q-ship wagons are too cool. Fun project, goes well w/all of Veyron's NISMO projects. This crazy idea started as a Mustang wagon, but the Mustang front end didn't fit the Magnum too well, I searched for something more appropriate and I had an extra Aoshima GT-R. I like this car better than a Skyline GT-R or Magnum

It's built as a very basic curbside. There is no engine detail and just enough underneath to hold the wheels in place. It is neither AWD nor RWD, it's a model, it's NWD (no wheel drive) All the time was spent on getting the bodywork done. It's got a few rough edges, but so do all Mangums and Nissans

I want to see these on the roads round here! Love the execution and how you've managed to keep the Nissan theme without spoiling it too much...like how you've seemlessly merged the iconic skyline tail lights into the Magnum body. Opening boot lid would've been awesome

Thanks for all the replies

After building a lot of OOB models this year, it feels good to get another custom done.

It's so believable I'm going to send this to the body shop doing the work on my 1:1.

I see a NISMO table at the next NNL!

Wow, you finally finished it?! Glad you did. I always wondered if you would. Turned out wonderful, even if it is a NWD, lol.
