Ticking?
I just put my engine back in. First time the engine has run in about 2 years. It has a tick when it runs. Not sure what it is. Are there any known ticking problems that can happen. For instance the 3000GT lifters tick all the time.

Re: Ticking?
probably a lifter tick. especially if it dried out over the years. if you want, you could rebuild them. but that requires a plenum pull, timing, LIM, and valve cover pull.

Re: Ticking?
Thanks for the info. They stopped ticking after about 20 minutes of driving. Havn't heard them since.
