Thumbs up Weightlifting and fitness

How many of you work out and lift weights? I've been doing it for a few years and I intend to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger (his younger years) some day, NOTE! without any use of any drugs.. LOL
How much can you lift? I can lift 65+ kg with my arms.

I hit the gym a few times a week, I mostly do cardio tho. Trying to get my weight down, and get in a bit better shape. Not trying to become a muscle man.

Im still the w3aksauce tho

A few years ago I used to be one strong mo-fo. Bench 425 with all trimmings. I hurt my shoulder and have only gone in sparingly since. Unfortunatly I still eat like I did when I worked out hard. So I packed on the pounds. I've been wanting to get back to the gym more and soon as the wife and I live in the same town, I'll be able to get back in a rythem again.

425lbs bench?? Holy Sh*t thats amazing. My bench sucks. At my peak fitness, I only got up about 225 lbs. But, I am able to power curl 135lbs.

I have been going to the gym since December 2001, and by August 2002 had lost 40 pounds and a few pants sizes. I am still pretty much there. I haven't been as good since school started...kinda hard when classes end at 10 pm then up til 12 or 1 am doing homework. Next week is spring break for me and I am lucky that none of my teachers assigned projects to work on so i am gonna use that time to get back in gear. I also took most of the week off from work too so I can catch up on personal things at home too. With summer coming I want to start getting up earlier (as if 4:45 isn;t early enough LOL) to walk the dogs too then hit the gym.

Ok enough babbling. On to my work out:

Day 1: abs, chest and back, then 45 min cardio
Day 2: abs, shoulders and arms, 45 min of cardio
Day 3: abs, legs, 20 min of cardio
Day 4: abs, 45 min cardio

other misc: 1 or 2 mile walk with the dogs

I've just started the other day with a 3 hour workout. I did 1:45 on weights. I managed to consistantly do 100kg with arms (the thingy you push forward that screws your shoulders). I can do 400kg with my legs about 10 times. My regular leg one is 120kg. I do about 66.7kgs on the ab one.

I also did the step machine, rowing machine and bike for 1:15.

This thread is :sun:. Encourages teh Oz..

Probably do about 2 hours today. Easy when you have a good gym 5 mins walk away on campus

I workout 4 times a week and have been for the past 3yrs. I can bench 260 but I'm going for cut so I don't lift that heavy of weight I curl like 50lb an arm and lower but I do lots of reps and sets I do around 80 situps through out my workout when my arms or whatever is tired I do situps. So far this summer I will look the best.
