Sons of Anarchy

Biker drama coming out next Wednesday... looks like The Shield in a biker gang : I like most things that come out from FX so I'm going to be checking this out. My man, Ron Perlmans going to be in this so that's another plus. Biker chicks, guns, explosions, Ron Perlman... the perfect formula. Anyone else seen?

Re: Sons of Anarchy

I hope and expect the series will firm up a few things that are left a bit loose right now.

Such as who is the female doctor, what is Sam Crow all about re the SOA, how the cop got on the take from SOA, how Clay's old lady got to him from the dead leader, well........ it goes on a bit.

Re: Sons of Anarchy

And the only tie I can think of for the two dead illegals is the Mayan's MC, bu why would they bury them at the SOA warehouse?. A lot of loose ends in the pilot.

Re: Sons of Anarchy

What i can say is they aren't wearing a 1%'er, which still is so Hollywood wrong. And nada meant to 1%'er patched, I wore one in my day. Outriders. We got goofy, maybe bent a few rules, but nada like that, unless our colors were directly dis-respected. Very Hollywood, the series, trust me on that.

Re: Sons of Anarchy

I liked the show, but c'mon, the main character bothers to put on a 1/2 pudding bowl helmet and no eye protection? At least get some goggles fer crissakes. If I go down the block on my 50cc scooter my eyes are wetter than Niagara Falls if I don't wear at least a pair of sunglasses. Hollywood makes me go hmmmm.

Re: Sons of Anarchy

Ayep, no eye protection is just plain stupid. I wore a standard open-face helmet with face shield for reason you mentioned, as well as all the crap that was "faced" while at speed. Get smacked by a big bug or some pebbles, without some protection, and you can get really mucked up. .

Not even gloves, sheesh, I always criticized the other members for lack of. Kept telling them, what goes out to stop you if you dump, first? Your hands. Usually.

Hollywood, sheesh.

Re: Sons of Anarchy

I caught the show on Sunday at 12 because I was on vacation during the premiere, I don't think I missed anything. It was pretty good, it was a bit more violent than I expected but I guess I should have expected it. Not that I don't enjoy it, it kept it interesting.

Nice to see some familiar faces like Katey Segal, Drea de Matteo and the Mulder's boss from the X-Files. I thought Katey in particular had an awesome performance. What do you guys expect to happen in the next episode?

I didn't even realize that eye protection aspect of it, some other clips show that the MC does wear some eye protection later on.

Re: Sons of Anarchy

I really wish I would have started recording this series at the start!!!!!!! Man, so many twists and turns, {soap opera style}, I have to kudo the writers!!!!

Tonight's episode was just insane, a jack-offer and burned off patch tattoo's, mixed with fake money and an oriental gang now in the mix with the Mongols.

Let's not forget the patch-over of Devil's Tribe, that's something I want to see play out.

Great show.
