Air Pump / Misfires

Hello,

I'm having a bad problem with my 2001 Honda s2000.. The Check Engine light....
Codes are always misfires on random plugs.. Sometimes 1 sometime 3 and then sometimes the other 2...

It has been at the shop a 95% of last month... They replaced spark plugs that Honda sent them for that car..

They a day after that then the check engine light came back on again..

Then they replaced the Fuel Filter

2 days after I got it back the check engine light came on again... Took it back and then this time they said they had a couple people from honda look at it..

First they said it was the fuel pump but after testing they said it's not

They said it could be the air pump and airpump (relay)....

Can that really cause misfires?

Also when the AC is on it really drives poorly. The car shakes a lot!

Please help,

Thank you

Re: Is it possible for the air pump to cause misfires?

What octane gas are you using?
