Fuel Filter Location 2000

Would someone please advise where the fuel filter is on a 2000 LeSabre? I have looked underneath and unless the old eyes are finished, I cannot locate it.
Also, are wrenches needed or is it the snap together type? The fuel filter on this 2000 has not been changed since new, and while it runs like a top, perhaps changing the filter may increase the gas mileage, as I read it did in another post.

L/s of floor pan towards the center before the tank, should be very easy to see.
