spark plugs

which spark plugs would you guys recommend for a 305 with a q-jet and mild cam ?

in all the magazines whenever they biuld an engine they use cheap $1.50 apiece plugs, does this make a difference in power and effienciency?

i was thinking of using ACDELCO rapidfire plugs any other suggestions, i want to use effiecient plugs with the high gas prices

Re: spark plugs

AC plugs are original in the 305. If it has a catalyst still attached, use a platinum plug (self-cleaning). If no catalyst, stick to what the book calls for. With unleaded fuel, plugs arn't the maintainence issue they used to be.
