93 Bonny whiring noise in Tranny?

Could use some advice as Im thinking about buying this car. Went to look at a 93 bonny yesterday(150k) very nice car except when you shift the tranny from park to reverse there is this whirring noise.(for only a couple of seconds) It sounds like it may be coming from the tranny but hard to tell. It only makes the noise when taking it out of park and is fine after that . I drove th car on the hwy and it shifts just fine no slipping. Later I noticed it did it when shifting from park to drive also but again it drove just fine no noise or slipping.
