Hey Ya'll, Newbie here. I just installed a Big Bore TB on my 1984 Celica GTS.
But, i am having problems in a car that ran fine before install. Dad always said if it aint broke don't fix it...
However, my problem is; hesitation, stalling after initial start up, almost got t-boned yesterday driving home. Car started, went to pull out of parking lot and car stalls. After massaging the throttle i got the idle up, then 18 mile drive home car seemed okay, but it lacking the power it had before.
I'm hoping that soemone has the experience here to help me through this. I had tighted up the TPS about a 1 mm tighter than spec, this was sugessted through another forum, when swapping out the TB.
This morning, I played with the idle stop a bit. The car will either stall out or backfire through the K&N filter.....now when I stomp on it.
Help.
