O2 sensor wire functions 4 hydrogen unit...
truck is an '04 colorado w/ 2.8 four cylinder. 2WD automatic, standard cab. Base model, a.k.a. no carpet or cd player, LOL. I have been asked to install an oxygen hydrogen unit that is supposed to increase mileage. That was easy. Now I have to splice in a module that "adjusts" the signals from the o2 sensors to keep the pcm in check. I need to splice into the "signal" wire coming from the o2 sensor and have been unable to find a diagram without a pricetag on it of the wires. I need to know which wire(s) from the 02 sensors BEFORE the cats are the signal wires leading to the pcm... Any experienced help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Re: O2 sensor wire functions 4 hydrogen unit...
Dang it!! I guess it IS true. The instructions of the hydro-oxy (or whatever) unit say to splice into the "signal" wire coming from the o2, it doesn't specify high or low. I think I am gonna have to email the company direct and find out the deal on this one.
Someone provided me with an "acquired" wiring diagram and I wasn't too sure about it as far as the accuracy, hence the post... now I know. Anybody have any experience with these oxy-hydrogen units?? |
