Dual Climate Control

I have seen similar post but mine seems to be opposite. Mine is the heat. I can turn the temp all the way to 90 and I get cold air on the drivers side and back seats, hot air on the passenger side. I have removed the glove box and watched the actuators, they both move. I'm assuming I have a door that is stuck, but dont know where. It doesnt matter if the dual zone is on or off same results. Is there anywhere to get a diagram of the air box to show all the doors? It is a 94 LeSabre Limited with dual climate controls.

Thanks,

Dave

Re: Dual Climate Control

Watch the white lever on the top of the HVAC box and the lever on the bottom- both behind the glove box- they should both move full stroke- unhook them if you have to -- to see if there is any binding-

Re: Dual Climate Control

Take the levers off and see if the door actually moves- it should slam shut both ways- your hinge may be broken..if they don't

Re: Dual Climate Control

how will I be able to tell if the door is moving by moving the lever? Is there a spring or something? Also is the top or bottom one for the drivers side. I know the passenger side works fine.

Thanks,
Dave
