Okay I'm really not a "car guy", but I've always wanted an El Camino so thats what I went and got. Well that and a whole lotta problems. I have to pass safety inspections to get on base and right now I have no brake lights. Besides changing fuses I have no idea what else to try. Any suggestions?

Re: Brake lights
Look at the brake light switch, which is located on the brake pedal arm. It unplugs and comes off easily enough. You may have to take out the pin that holds the master cylinder rod to the pedal arm, easy stuff.
The switch is fairly cheap, so that's the first thing I'd change. Bob |

Re: Brake lights
if u look on the peddel there is an outlet if theres nothing pluged into it find the plug it looks like a mini house plug. plug it in & it should work other then that run new wires from the fuse box to the light good luck
