i have owned an 89 ford probe GL with a 2L in it with an automatic tranny. I just purchased a 90 ford probe LX with a 3L with a manual transmission.... mill the 2L 4cylinder bolt up tho the manual tranny out of the one with the 3L 6 cylinder.... and are all the inkages going to bolt on or the wiring.... anyone with any suggestions please feel free to give ur input

Re: engine/tranny swap

I don't know for sure, but I really doubt it. The 2.0L in your '89 is pretty much a straight Mazda whereas the 3.0L in your '90 is straight Ford. I don't think the bellhousing bolt patterns are the same, but I don't know 100%.
