94 cutlass keyless entry not working right

At first my keyless entry wouldnt unlock sometimes now when I lock it the horn doesnt make the little sound as usual can I reset it or is it turned off? I pressed the little button under my dashboard a few times I think it is for my alarm. Is my keyless entry done with? If I hold the first button it sound the alarm. But I dont know whats wrong. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I could be wrong but it sounds like you have an after market keyless entry with alarm. If you can find the control box, normally mounted under the drivers feet. Get the manufacturer name and model number. Then get a manual on how to program.

Re: 94 cutlass keyless entry not working right

My 92 Cutlass is possessed (mostly with wiring problems, however). Keyless entry works in the summer but not in the winter. Electric locks work in the winter but not in the summer. Wiring is not a strong point, I think, in Cutlass from this period.
