1993 BMW 325i as a first car.

A guy near me is selling a 1993 325i with 130k miles for 2800.

I was wondering how good of a first car this would make? He has receipts from every oil change(every 6k miles) as well as yearly check-up reports from the dealing from 98(when he bought the car)til now.

He said normal 325i's can get well over 260k miles, is that true?
