b2000 lack of knowledge
what does anyone know that would help my decision on a good to fair condition 1984 b2000-$500 all parts are good and include some extra parts
i have tried to find consumer reports and stuff but none of the reports went back to 84 how well do b2000's tow...

the truck idles high and you have to keep the accel pushed down a little bit....i had it looked at and he thought it might of been a pressure plate of some sort on the carborator....the screw was either too short or too long...or not there at all....
what do you think?

I assume the truck you're talking about isn't the turbo diesel or the rotary but the typical gas engine. I wouldn't think it'd be any good for towing, it's pretty gutless little engine and the gearing isn't much better.
As far as what it's worth, regardless of age anything that is in good mechanical and physical shape is worth anywhere from $500-$1000 it seems. As far as your carburetor goes they're rebuildable so maybe get a rebuild kit and see if that helps.
