91 buick riviera struts

I was installing new struts on my cousins Riv and the drivers side went like a piece of cake. Got the passenger side out like butter. Now when I was taking the passenger side out I stood on the disk to get more Clarence and I think I over extended the CV shaft. Now the brake disk is tilted way out If you where looking at the tire from the front it would look like this \----| and I cant get it to spring back. Ive tried to pry it, jack it up, beat on it, It wont go back together. Did I pull the CV knuckle apart?
