Disable Air bags

How do I disable the Air bags on a 2001 Taurus? I am running the car in a Demolition Derby and I need to disable the Air bags. Also ... What is the fuse number for the Power Windows? The car was hit in the rear end....so were are going to let it go out with style.....

I would pull the fuse, it's the quickest way to make sure they don't pop on ya. Have fun!

For the demo derby, are you planning to bypass the fuel pump inertia switch? One hit and that will probably kill the engine on you.

You may want to also bypass the nss or trs wires that control starting in p and n so you can start it in any gear. At least that's what many do our way.

Maybe if you can safely remove the airbag components without damaging them, you could sell them. Unfortunately, you almost need someone to tell you how to take out the dash bag as it isn't obvious on purpose.
