03 ignition lock cylinder

has anyone else had problems with the ignition lock cylinder. my friend has an 03 with 60,000 miles on it and the lock cylinder wont turn all the way to the starting position. it almost goes all the way but something is binding. not to mention they are hard to find with out going to the dealer.

i guess this is more of a rant.

i did pull the lock cylinder out, took the center part out and i dont know why its binding.

any insight is appreciated.
