license plate law?

ok in NY is there a law in which u hafta have a plate in the front...cuz today i made a pretty sweet grille for the bumper n i really dont wanna cover it wit a plate..lol...any of u know? thanks alot!

i live in ny. you need a front plate. they'll let you slide with putting it in the front window. it's just another bullshit NY law

same in VA...not used to it since i'm from NC.....but they let u put it in the window also

i don't understand why you need a front plate. if you're speeding past a cop he can't read a front plate anyway and he's gonna follow you from behind.

i saw this thing on ebay the other day that would make the plate in the front fold back and you couldnt see it. a lil motor did it

the front plate is for the camers at stoplights that mail u tickets if u run a red

dont have ot have them here in GA or when i lived in WV. honestly, the only places i can think of that do that is cali and NY

ny gets all the shitty laws. just because of geographic location i have to have two fucking holes drilled in my front bumper. and i can't even legally buy firecrackers in this state i have to go the city.
