need help replacing cigarette lighter

I bought a replacement type from a store and it came with a removal tool but it did't work on it

Most of the aftermarket ones I've observed you hold the back and twist in the front piece. They appeared to have threads on them. I don't remember a tool with them. Check for corrision and use some P-B Blaster so it will turn.
