89 Deville won't start

89 Deville was working fine, Tried to start it the next day and all it'll do is turn over (won't start) I don't smell fuel and don't hear the fuel pump kick on when you turn the key. I have no previous reason to think something was wrong until that morning. I can pour gas down the TB and it'll start briefly. any suggestions before I pay big money to get it towed 42 miles to the shop? and if it's the fuel pump do they just go without warning? and am I lucky it got me home that night? AND YES THERE IS FUEL IN THE TANK

See if you have 12v to the pump for priming, if not check the fp relay.

It is in the main relay panel under the hood usually.
