need some info about the jetta!

hi guys i had a civic and i sold it and now im buying a jetta and i was wondering about the spec of this car! can some expert tell me about this car gti cl and what other kinds? thanx alot guys! im going to get a 96+ jetta 4dr so tell me which on is the best! thanx

The stock jetta GL is the base model and has a 2.0l engine ABA with 115 bhp, steal wheels, manual windows, cloth seats. The next step up is the GLS which came with the addition of optional alunimun wheels, power sunroof, power windows, leather interior, heated seats, cruise control, information center in the instrument cluster, ABS, EDL (Electronic Differencial Lock / traction control), 4 wheel disc brakes. The 2.0L engine was standard. The top of the line is the GLX which came with the 2.8l 15 degree V6 (VR6) 174 BHP. The interior has the same options as the GLS. The GLX has stiffer suspension( springs and swaybars), bigger brakes, 5 lug wheels rather then 4 lug, a cable shift transmission (if you had the manual trans), and much bigger brakes.

Stay way from any automatic transmissions (096/01M) because they tend to slip

I am sure that I missed some stuff, and someone will bang me on it. But that is all I can remeber right now.
