1999 century code p0141
Hello, My engine light came on, my scanner came up with the error code p0141, i looked it up and apparently it means "02 heater censor circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 2".
I know my injectors are fouled and if i don't put injector cleaner in every other tank i get an occasional misfire. Could that have anything to do with it? Also wondering if i could just have gotten a bad tank of gas. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mark. |

Re: 1999 century code p0141
If you had misfire DTC set this code would not. As for the bad tank of gas no this is a heater circuit problem.

Re: 1999 century code p0141
The bank 1, sensor 2 refers to the post CAT converter 02 sensor. All it does is monitor CAT converter efficiency and should not cause any misfires or driveability issues. Check the heater voltage input to the 02 sensor at the electrical connector. If good the post CAT 02 sensor is bad.
