2001 740il radio codes?
does the 2001 740il audio unit(nav, cassette, radio, dsp) have radio codes? i'm having problems with my cd sound and cassette player won't allow insertion, and i may need to remove both. also, i'm trying to find a way to use my ipod, so any help is appreciated.

The owners manual or audio portion of this manual should have a card with the radio code. If no card a dealer can, with the VIN give you the code.

No it does not have a cone, it does not give you the option to type a cone on the navigation screen. I have the same issue, there is power to the radio but no musik komes out. I have taken the whole thing out and cheked the conections at the back but nothing.

fuses 46/69 need to be checked or it is the DSC amp.
